WINDS HAVE DIMINISHED AS IS TYPICAL DURING AFTERNOONS IN AN ELY REGIME. SEAS WILL BE A BIT SLOWER TO DROP OFF. ANOTHER SURGE IS EXPECTED TO TRAVERSE THE WATERS FROM E TO W OVERNIGHT. HOWEVER...IT APPEARS THE GRADIENT WILL NOT BE QUITE AS STRONG TONIGHT AS IT WAS LAST NIGHT AND WE KEPT WINDS IN THE 10-15 KT RANGE WITH SEAS AROUND 3 FEET. WILL NEED TO WATCH THE GULF LOW S OF THE WATERS. IF IT SPINS UP A BIT...WILL NEED TO BUMP UP THE WINDS AND SEAS ACCORDINGLY. NONE OF THE MODELS SHOW THIS HAPPENING. VERY LITTLE CHANGE IN THE PATTERN IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE END OF THE FORECAST PERIOD MON. WINDS WILL VEER TO ONSHORE NEAR THE COAST DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. CONVECTIVE COVERAGE WILL PEAK DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND MORNING HOURS.
