THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA BIG BEND
AND PANHANDLE...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
REGION THIS MORNING IN RESPONSE TO AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
MOVING THROUGH THE REGION. SOME OF THESE STORMS NEAR THE COASTAL
AREAS OF APALACHEE BAY AND NORTHWARD INTO SOUTHWESTERN GEORGIA COULD
BE BRIEFLY STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. AN ISOLATED WATERSPOUT IS ALSO POSSIBLE ALONG THE
COASTAL AREAS OF APALACHEE BAY THIS MORNING. ADDITIONAL SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED LATER THIS AFTERNOON ALONG
THE INTERSTATE 75 CORRIDOR AND INTO THE EASTERN FLORIDA BIG BEND
AS THE DISTURBANCE MOVES THROUGH THE REGION. THE MAIN THREATS THIS
AFTERNOON WILL BE FOR GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
A SLIGHTLY DRIER AIRMASS WILL MOVE OVER THE REGION ON SATURDAY IN
THE WAKE OF THE UPPER DISTURBANCE. A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM
THE NORTHWEST ON SUNDAY AND GRADUALLY MOVE THROUGH THE REGION ON
MONDAY BRINGING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. A DRIER AIRMASS WILL ARRIVE BY THE MIDDLE
OF THE WEEK IN THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT.
