MIAMI (AP) - Bill is no longer a hurricane and forecasters say it's lost the characteristics of a tropical cyclone as it moves
away from the Canadian coast in the Atlantic.
The system still has tropical storm strength winds near 70 mph, but is expected to weaken gradually over the next few days. What's left of Hurricane Bill is also expected to produce a large area of
storms and gale force winds over the north Atlantic.
The system is centered about 190 miles off the coast of
Newfoundland and is moving east-northeast near 43 mph.
