Through Sunday Night

RECENTLY ANIMATED VAPOR LOOP SHOWED AN AMPLIFIED PATTERN OVER THE STATES WITH A BROAD UPPER TROUGH OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF THE COUNTRY AND RIDGING OUT WEST. AT THE SURFACE...A COLD FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE NORTHWEST IS EXPECTED TO MAKE ITS WAY OVER THE LOCAL FORECAST AREA THROUGH THE DAY SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT WITH MUCH DRIER AIR AND NORTHWEST WINDS FOLLOWING ITS PASSAGE. HOWEVER...DEEP MOIST SOUTHWEST FLOW OUT AHEAD OF THIS APPROACHING BOUNDARY WILL KEEP THE RAIN CHANCES UP OVER THE SOUTHEASTERN HALF OF THE LOCAL AREA THROUGH THE DAY SATURDAY. ON SUNDAY...THE BEST CHANCE FOR SHOWERS WILL BE ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEASTERN FL BIG BEND AREA. TO SHOW A LITTLE MORE UNCERTAINTY AS TO HOW FAST THIS BOUNDARY MAKES ITS WAY ACROSS OUR AREA...WE WILL INDICATE A SLIGHTLY SLOWER DRYING TREND COMPARED TO GUIDANCE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. LOW TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY MAY DROP JUST BELOW AVERAGE...UPPER 60S...ACROSS THE NWRN THIRD OF THE AREA IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT.
