Monday through Friday

AFTER A GENERALLY HOT AND DRY MONDAY...IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THE GLOBAL MODELS HAVE TAKEN THE THE LEAD FROM THE ECMWF AND COME INTO BETTER AGREEMENT ON A MORE UNSETTLED PATTERN ACROSS THE REGION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK AS THE UPPER LEVEL RIDGE RETROGRADES BACK TO THE WEST AND ALLOWS YET ANOTHER DEEP TROUGH TO BECOME RE-ESTABLISHED ACROSS THE SERN CONUS. KEPT AFTERNOON POPS FAIRLY CONSERVATIVE AT 40 PERCENT DURING MOST OF THE EXTENDED PERIOD...BUT IF THE MODEL TRENDS CONTINUE IN THIS DIRECTION...AND THE SYNOPTIC PATTERN BECOMES MORE CERTAIN...WILL MOST LIKELY NEED TO RAISE THESE IN FUTURE SHIFTS.
