THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA BIG BEND
AND PANHANDLE...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

DEEP LAYER HIGH PRESSURE WILL FORCE TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID
90S AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON AWAY FROM THE IMMEDIATE COAST. HEAT
INDEX VALUES WILL APPROACH 100 DEGREES.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...
ESPECIALLY NORTH OF THE I-10 CORRIDOR. WHILE SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED...A FEW STORMS COULD BE STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...AND SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE MIDDLE 90S AWAY FROM
THE COAST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH HEAT INDICES APPROACHING 100
DEGREES.

SCATTERED AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
AGAIN ANTICIPATED SATURDAY...MAINLY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE I-10
CORRIDOR. THE AREA OUTLOOKED BY THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER FOR A
SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER COMES CLOSE TO OUR NORTHERN ZONES.
WHILE WIDESPREAD STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED...A FEW OF THE STORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST ALABAMA AND
SOUTHERN GEORGIA MAY APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS WITH DAMAGING WINDS
AND HAIL.

BETTER CHANCES FOR SCATTERED AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN CONFINED TO NORTHERN AND EASTERN
PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA DURING THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK.
