THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...THE FLORIDA BIG BEND AND
PANHANDLE...AND THE ADJACENT GULF COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
THERE IS A MODERATE RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS TODAY ALONG THE FLORIDA
BIG BEND AND MOST PANHANDLE BEACHES. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT FOR THE NORTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO WITH A GALE WARNING WELL
OFFSHORE. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP TODAY WITH THE GREATEST COVERAGE OF RAIN ACROSS
NORTHERN AND EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA. RAINFALL
TOTALS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE EXCESSIVE AND THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD
NOT BE ALL THAT STRONG TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
WINDS AND SEAS WILL REMAIN ELEVATED OUT OVER THE GULF AND SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT INTO SATURDAY. THERE WILL BE A HIGH
RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES ON FRIDAY AND THIS RISK MAY
WELL LAST THROUGH MUCH OF THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. COVERAGE OF SHOWERS
AND STORMS WILL REMAIN HIGH INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK AS WELL. OVERALL
RAINFALL TOTALS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO CAUSE FLOODING CONCERNS. AN
ISOLATED STRONG STORM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT...BUT STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS.
