THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA BIG BEND
AND PANHANDLE...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE STORMS ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY...

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY
TRIGGERING SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE
BEST RAIN CHANCES AND HIGHEST RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE IN
SOUTHEAST ALABAMA AND SOUTHWEST GEORGIA ALONG A REMNANT OUTFLOW
BOUNDARY. DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS ARE THE MOST LIKELY MODE
OF SEVERE WEATHER TODAY...ALTHOUGH LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED
TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE AS WELL.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES TODAY.
REFER TO THE LATEST SURF ZONE FORECAST FOR DETAILS.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE EACH
