THE NEXT SHORTWAVE WILL BE WEAKENING WITH MOST OF ITS ENERGY LIFTING TO THE NORTHEAST AS THE THE TROUGH AXIS TRANSLATES FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS SUNDAY NIGHT TO TO THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE BY 12Z TUESDAY. THIS TROUGH WASHES OUT ON WEDNESDAY AS UPPER RIDGING BRIEFLY BUILDS IN FROM THE EAST. ANOTHER TROUGH WITH AXIS OVER THE NATIONS MID-SECTION ON WEDNESDAY MOVES TO THE CENTRAL GULF BY THE END OF THE PERIOD. AT THE SURFACE...A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH OUR WESTERN ZONES TUESDAY AND GRADUALLY WASH OUT WITHOUT ENTERING OUR CWA. HOWEVER...MODELS SHOW DEEPER MOISTURE RETURNING TO THE REGION. THIS IN COMBINATION WITH DAYTIME HEATING...SEA BREEZE INTERACTION AND INCREASING INSTABILITY SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT TO GENERATE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON BEGINNING TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ABOVE AVERAGE THROUGH THE PERIOD.
