A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL FLORIDA ZONES UNTIL SUNSET...AND A RED FLAG WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON FOR ALL OF OUR GEORGIA AND ALABAMA ZONES AS WELL. DRIER AIR ON THE HEELS OF A WEAKENING COLD FRONT IS SPREADING ACROSS THE TRI STATE AREA...AND THE TIGHTENING PRESSURE WITH THE COLD FRONT IS PRODUCING WINDS THAT...WHEN COMBINED WITH THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES...MEET RED FLAG CRITERIA THERE AS WELL. WITH THE DRIER AIR AND DAYTIME HEATING WEDNESDAY...RED FLAG CRITERIA WILL BE MET FOR ALL OF OUR ZONES IN FLORIDA...ALABAMA AND GEORGIA. AFTER WEDNESDAY...INCREASING LOW LEVEL MOISTURE WILL KEEP RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS THROUGH AT LEAST NEXT WEEKEND. ISOLATED SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE PASSES TO THE NORTH. HOWEVER...NO SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS EXPECTED.
