A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE U.S. EAST COAST THROUGH WEDNESDAY...THEN MOVE SLOWLY INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. THIS FRONT WILL STALL NORTHWEST OF THE COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THE SHARP DIFFERENCE IN PRESSURE BETWEEN THIS FRONTAL SYSTEM AND THE HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL CAUSE WINDS AND SEAS TO BE ELEVATED MUCH OF THIS WEEK...POSSIBLY REACHING ADVISORY LEVELS AT TIMES.
