DRY CONDITIONS WILL DOMINATE THE EXTENDED PERIOD. A WEAK UPPER TROUGH WILL LINGER WEDNESDAY NIGHT OVER THE EASTERN GULF. THEN A DEEP TROUGH WILL DIG DOWN THE EASTERN SEABOARD THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BEFORE MOVING INTO THE ATLANTIC BY LATE FRIDAY. TROUGH REPLACED BY HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE AND EARLY ZONAL FLOW SETTING UP INTO THE WEEKEND. SOME MODEL DIFFERENCE WITH STRENGTH OF RIDGE...GFS NOTICEABLY STRONGER YIELDING SOMEWHAT WARMER TEMPS. EITHER WAY...BOTH SHOW THAT AS THE TROUGH DIGS SEWD DURING LATE WORK WEEK...A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH LATE THURSDAY AND PUSH THROUGH BY EARLY FRIDAY. MODELS SHOW THE FRONT LACKING DEEP LAYER MOISTURE AND UPPER SUPPORT SO LITTLE IF ANY PRECIP IS EXPECTED. IN ITS WAKE...HIGH PRESSURE WITH STRONGER NELY FLOW CLEARS AND COOLS THE AREA FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. TEMPS MODERATE TO CLIMO ON MONDAY AS HIGH MOVES EAST AND ONSHORE FLOW DEVELOPS.
