THE W COAST ENERGY WILL WORK ITS WAY SLOWLY EWD TO A POSITION OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS BY 12Z SAT BEFORE BEING SHUNTED NEWD BY THE DOWNSTREAM RIDGE. SAID RIDGE WILL BUILD IN AMPLITUDE IN RESPONSE TO THE APPROACHING TROUGH BEFORE BEING FLATTENED A BIT SAT NIGHT. THE SURFACE RIDGE AXIS WILL SETTLE SWD OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS WITH THE AXIS LINING UP ALONG THE GULF COAST FROM FRI THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THIS PATTERN WILL KEEP THE FORECAST AREA RAIN-FREE WITH TEMPS AND DEW POINTS MODERATING A BIT EACH DAY. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE SOME 4-9 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL WITH NIGHTTIME LOWS MODERATING TO NEAR NORMAL BY SUN MORNING. DAYTIME TEMPS WILL BE NOTICEABLY COOLER ALONG THE COAST AS ONSHORE FLOW BRINGS IN COOLER AIR OFF THE CHILLY GULF SHELF WATERS. WATERS TEMPS ARE STILL IN THE UPPER 50S ALONG THE IMMEDIATE PANHANDLE COAST AND OVER MUCH OF THE GULF S OF THE FL BIG BEND WHERE INLAND VS COASTAL TEMP DIFFERENCES WILL BE MAXIMIZED.
