THE SURFACE HIGH CENTERED DIRECTLY OVERHEAD THIS MORNING WILL SLIDE EAST TODAY WITH WINDS VEERING TO BECOME ONSHORE BY THIS AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT CURRENTLY ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL ADVANCE SOUTH AND EASTWARD TODAY AND TONIGHT AND PASS THROUGH THE LOCAL REGION BY EARLY TO MID-MORNING SUNDAY. THE FRONT WILL BE WEAKENING AS IT ENTERS OUR TRI-STATE REGION AND IT STILL LOOKS LIKE ONLY SMALL CHANCES OF SHOWERS FOR AREAS WEST OF AN ALBANY GA TO PANAMA CITY FL LINE MAINLY AFTER MIDNIGHT. COOLER AND DRIER AIR RETURNS IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT WITH SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED MONDAY MORNING. MAX TEMPS WILL BE IN THE LOWER TO MID 60S TODAY AND UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
