The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Wind Chill Advisory and a Hard Freeze Warning from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 for our area.
Temperatures will drop to below freezing around 1 a.m. and continue a steady drop through the early morning hours and reach Hard Freeze criteria a few hours before sunrise. Cold temperatures will combine with gusty northwest winds to produce cold wind chills in the hours around sunrise.
Wednesday night - Temperatures dropping into the upper teens and lower 20's across the Region.
Thursday night - Cold temperatures with another possible Hard Freeze.
A Hard Freeze Warning means temperatures 26 degrees for two or more hours are imminent.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
