RAIN BEHIND THE COLD FRONT WILL END THURSDAY MORNING BUT WILL KEEP CHANCE POPS FOR ERN/SRN ZONES THROUGH THE DAY TO ACCOUNT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SLOWER ECMWF SOLUTION. A DRY COLD FRONT WILL QUICKLY FOLLOW AND PUSH THROUGH BY DAYBREAK FRIDAY. THIS WILL USHER IN A MUCH DRIER AND COLDER AIR MASS FOR FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND WITH SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SETTLING OVERHEAD ON SATURDAY. WITH IDEAL RADIATIONAL COOLING EXPECTED SATURDAY MORNING...MIN TEMPS SHOULD DROP TO THE UPPER 20S TO AROUND 30. ANOTHER LIGHT FREEZE IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY MORNING WITH THE SURFACE HIGH DISPLACED JUST A LITTLE FURTHER TO THE EAST. THEN A SHORTWAVE IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE GULF COAST STATES AND MAY PROVIDE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT. AS THE SHORT WAVE PASSES TO OUR EAST ON MONDAY...DEEP LAYER RIDGING WILL BEGIN TO BUILD OVER THE LOCAL REGION WITH SLOWLY MODERATING TEMPS.
