THE RAIN HAS MOVED EAST OF THE LOCAL REGION AS OF 20Z AND THE BACK EDGE OF THE CLOUDS WILL EXIT THE SOUTHEAST BIG BEND BEFORE ZONE ISSUANCE. FURTHER UPSTREAM WE SEE SOME STRATOCU ASSOCIATED WITH THE NEXT COLD FRONT CURRENTLY PUSHING INTO WESTERN ALABAMA. THIS FRONT WILL BARROW THROUGH THE TRI-STATE REGION TONIGHT AND ALL BUT THE IMMEDIATE COAST SHOULD EXPERIENCE SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS FRONT WILL ALSO USHER IN A VERY DRY AIRMASS WITH FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS FOR ALL ZONES. SEE FIRE WEATHER SECTION BELOW. WINDS WILL QUICKLY SWING AROUND FROM A NORTHERLY DIRECTION TO WESTERLY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AS THE LEADING EDGE OF AN ARCTIC AIRMASS SPILLS INTO THE SOUTHEAST U.S. THIS FRONT IS FORECAST TO PUSH THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND DESPITE SUSTAINED NORTHERLY WINDS OVERNIGHT WE EXPECT A HARD FREEZE FOR ALL BUT INLAND AREAS BY DAYBREAK THURSDAY. THURSDAY WILL BE SUNNY WITH A CONTINUATION OF BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WITH MAX TEMPS RANGING FROM UPPER 40S NORTHWEST ZONES AND MID TO UPPER 50S EXTREME SOUTHEAST ZONES.
