THE LONG WAVE TROUGH WILL REMAIN OVER THE ERN CONUS THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK BEFORE LIFTING OFF TO THE NE OVER THE WEEKEND. AFTER A PERIOD OF ZONAL FLOW ON MONDAY...ANOTHER SHARP SHORT WAVE TROUGH WILL DROP IN THE SERN CONUS BY NEXT TUESDAY. A SURFACE FRONT WILL BR DRAPED ACROSS THE AREA AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD...SLIPPING SLOWLY S OF THE AREA BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. LOW CHANCE POPS (30) THURSDAY NIGHT WILL TAPER TO SLIGHT CHANCE (20) FOR THE FIRST PART OF FRIDAY. RAIN CHANCES WILL THEN RETURN TO THE FORECAST AHEAD OF THE NEXT FRONTAL SYSTEM...WHICH THE GFS AND EURO NOW DELAY UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY. TEMPS WILL BE NEAR TO BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE PERIOD.
