ZONAL FLOW EXISTS ACROSS THE SERN CONUS THIS EVENING WITH A SERIES OF VORT CENTERS MOVING EWD IN THE FLOW. A STRONGLY POSITIVELY TILTED TROUGH EXTENDS FROM THE PLAINS SWWD TO BAJA CA WITH ADDITIONAL ENERGY DIVING DOWN THE NRN HIGH PLAINS TO REINFORCE THIS TROUGH. UNTIL THIS HAPPENS, THE TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED SURFACE SYSTEM IN TX WILL REMAIN FAIRLY STATIONARY. THE COLD FRONT HAS ALSO PULLED UP STATIONARY ACROSS NRN GA AND CENTRAL AL AND MS. THE SURFACE HIGH HAS MOVE E OF FL AND RETURN FLOW OFF THE GULF HAS LIFTED LOWERS 60S DEW POINT AIR ACROSS. WE SEE MID 60S DEW POINT AIR OFFSHORE AND WATER TEMPS ARE DOWN INTO THE LOWER 60S. COULD SEE SOME FOG DEVELOP OVERNIGHT. BEST RAIN CHANCES WILL BE ACROSS THE NRN ZONES TONIGHT AND POPS RANGE FROM CATEGORICAL ACROSS THE NRN TIER TO SLIGHT CHANCE DOWN IN DIXIE COUNTY. INSTABILITY WILL BE A LIMITING FACTOR FOR TS OVERNIGHT, BUT WE DID ALLOW FOR ISOLATED TS OVER THE PANHANDLE AND ADJACENT GULF WATERS.
