AS THE UPPER TROUGH MOVES FURTHER EAST INTO THE WESTERN ATLANTIC...THE UPPER FLOW WILL BACK FROM NORTHWEST THURSDAY TO BECOME ZONAL FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. THEN A CLOSED UPPER LOW OVER THE MISSOURI VALLEY SATURDAY NIGHT WILL SWING EAST TO THE MID ATLANTIC STATES WHICH WILL HELP DIG A DEEP TROUGH OVER THE EASTERN CONUS. AT THE SURFACE...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE CENTERED OVER THE NORTHEAST GULF THURSDAY MORNING WITH FREEZING TEMPERATURES LIKELY INLAND EASTERN ZONES. MIN AND MAX TEMPERATURES WILL GRADUALLY MODERATE TO NEAR SEASONAL LEVELS OVER THE WEEKEND. THE NEXT COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH SATURDAY NIGHT AND PUSH THROUGH THE CWA SUNDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT BRINGING WITH IT THE NEXT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HIGH PRESSURE AND A DRIER AIRMASS WILL FILTER IN BEHIND THE FRONT TO BEGIN THE NEXT WEEK.
