Florida sending team to help Texas with Ike recovery

Florida is sending one of its emergency management teams to Texas to help with Hurricane Ike recovery.

The storm's eye is expected to strike somewhere near Galveston
late Friday or early Saturday.

Florida agriculture commissioner Charles Bronson said Friday
that the state's forestry division is sending one of its incident
management teams.

These teams are trained to help get emergency supplies like food and water to storm victims.

They also help with search and rescue missions, among other activities.
