Synopsis For The Suwannee River To Destin Out To 60 Nm

With high pressure in control over the region...winds and seas will remain below headline criteria. Seas will remain around 1 to 2 feet nearshore with 2 to 3 foot seas over the offshore waters. In addition...increased winds will be possible both Friday and Saturday nights with easterly surges working from east to west across the marine area. Though a stray shower or thunderstorm will be possible...high pressure should keep marine areas mostly rain-free through the near term. A cold front will stall over central Alabama and Georgia on Saturday and will weaken through the weekend. Behind this front...high pressure will build in again. By midweek...easterly surface winds and strong easterly surges may lead to increased winds and seas with near headline criteria possible.
