TROPICAL STORM HERMINE WAS LOCATED NEAR THE NORTHEAST COAST OF
MEXICO...AND WILL MAKE LANDFALL IN NORTHEAST MEXICO OR EXTREME
SOUTHERN TEXAS LATE TONIGHT OR TUESDAY. AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE
WILL BUILD FROM THE WESTERN ATLANTIC TO GEORGIA THROUGH
WEDNESDAY...PROVIDING GENERALLY EAST WINDS ACROSS THE MARINE AREA.
A WEAK COLD FRONT WILL STALL JUST NORTH OF THE COASTAL WATERS
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS THE RIDGE RETREATS SOUTHEASTWARD INTO THE
WESTERN ATLANTIC. EACH MODEL FORECASTS WEAK TROUGHS IN THE
EASTERLIES DURING THIS TIME FRAME...SO WE SMOOTHED OUT THESE
QUESTIONABLE DETAILS BY BLENDING THE WIND AND SEAS GUIDANCE.
