HIGHLIGHTED BY VERY BROAD RIDGING FROM CA EWD THRU WRN ATLC WITH
STRONGER RIDGING OVER GULF OF MEX. ON THE SOUTHERN PERIPHERY OF THE
RIDGE...A MID/LOW LEVEL PRESSURE TROUGH WAS AIDING TROPICAL PLUME OF
MOISTURE MOVING NWWD. BUT...DURING THE NEXT FEW DAYS UPPER RIDGING
WILL BUILD OVER THE PENINSULA/CNTRL GULF OF MEX SPREADING DRIER MID
LEVEL AIR AND SUBSIDENCE PROGRESSIVELY NWWD AND OVER LOCAL REGION.

AT LOWER LEVELS...
SURFACE RIDGE AXIS REMAINS ANCHORED ACROSS THE SOUTH CENTRAL
PENINSULA TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY. WEAK FRONTAL BOUNDARY ACROSS NRN
PLAINS WSW THRU NEVADA. REMNANTS OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION 5 ACROSS SE
ALA. DURING THE NEXT 48 HRS...THE RIDGE AXIS WILL SINK FURTHER SOUTH
ON AS THE FRONTAL TROUGH MOVES INTO THE SE STATES.
