Long Term Discussion

LONG TERM...FRI THROUGH NEXT TUE.
THE MAIN QUESTION IN THE EARLY PART OF THE EXTENDED PERIOD CONTINUES
TO BE THE EVOLUTION OF AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE GULF OF
MEXICO. BY FRIDAY MORNING...MOST OF THE MODELS HAVE THE SYSTEM
INLAND OVER THE LOWER MS VALLEY. EVEN WITHOUT THIS SYSTEM THOUGH...
AMPLE MOISTURE WILL ALLOW FOR SCATTERED AFTERNOON CONVECTION EACH
DAY AND DECIDED TO SHOW AFTERNOON POPS AROUND 50 PERCENT. THIS IS
NEAR CLIMATOLOGICAL AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. TEMPERATURES WILL
DEPEND HEAVILY ON HOW MUCH CLOUD COVER IS AROUND...BUT GENERALLY
EXPECTING MID 90S DURING THE AFTERNOON AND MID TO UPPER 70S AT
NIGHT...WHICH CONTINUES TO BE A BIT ABOVE NORMAL.
