TROPICAL UPDATE – The remnants of Erika continue to move NE in the Gulf of Mexico but it appears that the bulk of the rainfall will pass to the east of us keeping things hot and dry. Elsewhere Tropical Storm Fred is weakening and will not pose a threat to the U.S.
