WTVY Detailed Forecast

Well we begin this Friday 40 degrees colder than we were on Thursday morning where 70 degree temperatures made it feel like spring. Temperatures will remain well below average this afternoon, highs in the mid 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds out of the north at 5-10 mph.
Friday night temperatures will drop back into the 30s, areas of southeast Alabama will see lows in the mid to upper 30s while locations farther north will be right around that freezing point.
Another chilly start is in store for Saturday morning as many locations will be in the 30s. High pressure over the Ohio Valley will make for sunny skies throughout the day and afternoon highs in the low 60s.
High pressure will remain in place for the duration of the weekend but our next coastal system will begin to form in the western Gulf come Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s for highs and upper 40s to near 50 degrees in the morning, models are indicating decent coverage of rainfall with this system.
