SYNOPSIS – The hot and mainly dry stretch continues on Tuesday with highs reaching the middle to upper 90s. A stray shower is possible, but much of the area will stay dry. We will see rain chances increase gradually as the week progresses, with highs easing into the lower 90s by Friday. The weekend is looking wet at this point.

TROPICAL UPDATE – There is a broad area of disturbed weather from the Eastern Gulf of Mexico into the Atlantic Ocean. Tropical development is unlikely, but we’ll monitor this area throughout the week.
