Wiregrass Retired and Senior Volunteer Program 501 N. Foster Street Dothan,Al.,
This event is for individuals and caregivers who are suffering from chronic disease. When facing a chronic illness the most important thing to do are to understand the condition and respond to it by becoming a skilled self-manager on a continuing basis. Stanford University's patient education research center in collaboration with the Northern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program developed the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. The Program has helped thousands of people live a productive healthy life. We invite seniors 55 and over to come and join our workshops to learn about proven tips, helpful suggestions with concrete strategies to deal with chronic illness and live a more fulfilled life. These workshops are sponsored by Wiregrass Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, Southeast Alabama Regional Council on Ageing and The Alabama Department of Senior Services. Each six week workshop is lead by local RSVP members who have been successfully trained to lead The Living Well with Chronic Disease Workshops-Please call to register.

Jun 29, 2013 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
We are having another gun class! The class will be on Saturday June 29 and the cost is $75 per person.
We are requiring a $20 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot for this class.
This deposit can be paid either by getting up with me, or via PayPal. If you choose to pay via PayPal, payment should be sent to chris@3DTacticalTraining.com and please make sure to put in the comment section “For Conceal Carry Class.”
You can also get more information about the class and our group at www.3DTacticalTraining.com and look at the class section. The class on the 29th is the basic conceal carry class.
Below is the itinerary of the class and the listing for the needed items.
The itinerary for the class: We will meet at the Hardees on Hwy 431 in Abbeville at 7:30 am Saturday morning. Coming from Dothan (south of Abbeville) it is on the right; coming from Eufaula (north of Abbeville) it is on the left; and coming from Ozark (On Hwy 27) it is at the intersection of 27 and 431. It is next to a Best Western Motel and across from the old West Point Stevens plant (the plant is now closed). We are meeting there because it is an easy point to find, and gives everyone a chance to grab breakfast before we head to the range. Please keep my cell number (below in the email signature) handy in case you have any questions that morning on where we are.
Class will begin at 8am and go till about noon, where we will break for lunch, and then come back to finish up the day. The class will end about 3:30-4:00 that afternoon.
What you will need for the class:
• Your pistol (preferably the pistol you plan to carry on a regular basis)
• The holster for your weapon
• Preferably 3 magazines for your pistol and a way to carry them on you
• 200 rounds of ammo for your pistol. We will be doing a lot of shooting (more would be preferable)
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• A willingness to listen and learn
• $55 per person (for the remainder of the $75 tuition). We currently cannot accept credit cards at this time.
If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for your interest and thank you in advance for your attendance. I look forward to seeing you there.
If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me.
