Safe Summer: Know the Dangers of Underage Drinking
Jun 20, 2013 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
CB&T Bank Ozark, AL
What are your pre-teens and teenagers doing this summer while you are at work?
Do you know the parents’ names and addresses of the kids your kid hangs out with on the weekend?
When is the last time you talked to your 10 year old about alcohol? I don’t have teenagers; why is it important I know about the dangers of underage drinking?
If you can’t answer these questions or if you don’t know why it is important you know these things, we encourage you to join us on Thursday, June 20th for an Underage Drinking Town Hall Forum sponsored by the Coalition for a Drug Free Dale County of SpectraCare Health Systems. It will be held from 6:00-8:00pm at CB&T Bank (located at 510 Andrews Avenue in Ozark.) The forum will feature a panel of speakers from various community resources, which will provide valuable information and then be on-hand to answer questions from the public about underage drinking. Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided also. Please join us to learn how to keep “our kids” safe this summer. For more information, please call (334)445-4554.
