Spring Food Film Festival

Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Santa Rosa Beach, FL – October 13, 2015 – The Local Palate magazine and The Food Film Festival™ will debut The Food Film Festival™ South Walton this spring. The well-known festival will premiere in its fourth city April 8-10, 2016 in South Walton, Florida.

This three-day festival includes food films from award-winning artists, unique meals prepared by the South’s best chefs, and various events celebrating the food, art, and culture of South Walton and the surrounding area. The first night of the festival is comprised of a VIP and welcome party with “A Taste of What’s to Come.” Saturday’s events include “A Southern Culinary + Spirits Experience” plus exclusive screenings of a dozen short films accompanied by dishes and cocktails based on the films. The weekend wraps up with “An American Institution: A Sunday Brunch” where guests are served quintessential American brunch items.

The Food Film Festival™
Born in Brooklyn in 2007, The Food Film Festival™ sprang from the imagination of festival director George Motz, the documentary filmmaker and Travel Channel host behind the award-winning Hamburger America film and book, along with co-creator Harry Hawk. The festival screens exceptional films that showcase the world’s favorite foods and the people, traditions, and inspirations behind them. At every festival event, guests are treated to multiple mouth-watering food films, and then served the featured food for a multi-sensory, full- body experience, right in their seat. Emerald Coast Theatre Company
Emerald Coast Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) founded in 2012 by Nathanael Fisher, MFA, and his wife, Anna Fisher, M.A. Based in Miramar Beach, Florida, ECTC’s mission is to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast community through professional and educational theater. ECTC operates year-round with a two-fold mission to provide both educational and professional offerings to the Northwest Florida community. Educational outreach includes after school, home-school, and weekend programs for children, touring and staged productions, summer camps, workshops and classes. The professional theater efforts are focused on thought provoking productions, festivals and collaborations as well as acting and improv workshops and classes for adults.
