Asthma Safari

Asthma Safari is a fun-filled learning adventure for children, ages 3-7 years old, who have been diagnosed with asthma.

Asthma Safari is designed to teach very young children how to manage their asthma. Jungle animal puppets and a Safari Guide take groups of children on a trip through the jungle where they meet various animal characters who have asthma. The children learn though the puppets’ problems and solutions how to manage their disease.

After attending Asthma Safari, even very young children will be able to identify their triggers and signals letting them know when they are getting into trouble with their asthma. They will also learn an action plan enabling them to take charge of the asthma so that they are less likely to be placed in a life-threatening situation. Asthma Safari’s goal is to teach very young children how to manage their disease and make it less frightening.
