The 3rd annual Brian Brackin Memorial Blue Ribbon Ride will be held Saturday, May 9th at Harley Davidson in Dothan. Registration starts at 9:00 and FBO at 10:00. Family activities start at 11 and include face painting, inflatable fun, bake sale, karaoke, hamburgers, and hot dogs. All bikers/clubs invited to attend as well as jeep clubs and car clubs. Anyone can come and participate in free family day activities; donations will be taken for lunch if not participating in the ride.

The ride is held to raise funds for the CAC and in memory of Brian Brackin, retired from the Dothan PD and long-time CAC Board Member who cooridinated the ride for years. He saw how the CAC benefits abused children and their families. From an investigator point of view, it helps to have the CAC offer a child friendly facility and trained professionals to talk to children during a difficult time. Working as a team with the CAC ensures the child's case receieves the attention necessary to help them cope with what is going on while also bringing guilty individuals to justice.

District Attorneys Doug Valeska and Kirke Adams support the event that is being held in partnership with Henry, Houston, Dale, and Geneva County Sheriff's Offices and the Wiregrass Harley Owner Group (HOG). Thanks to all the sponsors and Harley Davidson of Dothan for your support!

Wiregrass Hope Group is a faith based non-profit organization that has been serving Dothan and the surrounding communities since 1983. It was at that time a group of concerned citizens came together to provide compassionate care, encouragement, and practical support for young women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Over the years our organization has expanded our Pregnancy Programs and Services to include our Marriage and Pre-Marriage Counseling, Character and Relationship Education, Fatherhood Program, and Women's Counseling. We are supported mainly through the generosity of individuals, churches, and local businesses. Our services have always been offered at no cost to our clients.
