Discipleship studies at County Line Baptist Church in Enterprise, AL.

County Line 1000 Highway 92 in Enterprise, AL
Start the New Year participating in new discipleship studies at County Line Baptist Church in Enterprise, AL. Beginning at 5:30 on each Sunday from 1/11 - 3/29, Co-Ed and Womens small groups will discuss how God's Living Word inspires our life choices.

Options include: The True Story of the Old Testament, The Patriarchs, Share Jesus Without Fear and Facing Your Giants.

The True Story of the Old Testament presents a survey of the OT with particular attention to God's revelation of Himself and HIs plans for redemption. The study will help participants better understand and relate to God.

Share Jesus Without Fear provides encouragement as is guides participants in a simple and relational approach to witnessing. It teaches believers how to navigate a witnessing conversation in everyday situations.

In The Patriarchs, Beth Moore leads women on a journey through Genesis 12-50. In this study, discover God's pursuit of a relationship with man and marvel as His plan to bless all people unfolds.

In Facing Your Giants author Max Lucado suggests ways to face and slay the super sized challenges of life by following the biblical example of David. When David focused on giants he stumbled. But when David focused on God, giants tumbled.

The Storytelling of Norman Rockwell”.

Ozark/Dale County Public Library416 James Street, Ozark, AL, in the West Wing of the Library.
The Friends of the Library will be featuring Ms. Delores Hydock. This is a FREE Community Service program open to the public. Ms. Hydock will be presenting “Every Picture Tells a Story: The Storytelling of Norman Rockwell”. Norman Rockwell did not paint pictures – each of his paints told a story. Ms. Dolores Hydock is an actress and storyteller and has been a speaker with the Alabama Humanities Foundation for more than 10 years. She has been featured at festivals conferences and special events throughout the United States. She has received awards from Storytelling World Magazine for excellence in storytelling




Blue Bird and Hummingbird Workshops at Landmark Park

Interpretive Center Auditorium, Landmark Park, on U.S. Highway 431 North in Dothan, Ala
On Saturday, January 24, Dr. Gary Manfready will conduct the Bluebird Workshop and Saturday, January 31, Fred Basset, licensed hummingbird bander, will conduct the Hummingbird Workshop at Landmark Park.

Dr. Manfready is a professor at Troy and a member of the North American Bluebird Society. He will provide information on recent findings on bluebird populations and their habitat. Basset is a member of the Hummer/Bird Study group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the study and preservation of hummingbirds and neotropical migrants. He will share facts about the nesting habits, diet, feeder maintenance and migration patterns of hummingbirds.

The both workshops begin at 10 a.m. and are held in the Interpretive Center Auditorium. The programs are free with paid gate admission. Regular park admission is $4 for adults, $3 for kids and free for members. Registration is required. Please call the park to let us know you are coming.

Ballroom Dance Lessons

Cultural Arts Center in Dothan
Ballroom Dance Lessons sponsored by the Dothan Ballroom Dance Club, a non profit organization,will be offered every Tuesday evening in January at the Cultural Arts Center in Dothan. Lessons start at 6:30 and the cost will be $2.00 per person per evening. The basics of fox trot and east coast swing will be covered.
