What is ACOM Science Week?
Science Week is part of ACOM's Beyond the Classroom Initiative designed to give students and educators opportunities to participate in health and science activities free-of-charge on the ACOM campus. These activities include the Women in Science camp and the Health & Anatomy in the Wiregrass workshops.
Women in Science is a two-day camp for middle and high school girls designed to engage them in hands-on science, health and research activities, and inspire future careers in those fields.
Health & Anatomy in the Wiregrass is a series of two workshops designed to engage high school students who are interested in health sciences and anatomy, as well as science educators through hands-on activities. This year's workshops will focus on the musculoskeletal system.
