Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports! It is a paddle sport that is a combination of tennis, badminton, and table-tennis; and is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Younger and more competitive players can make it a fast-paced competitive game, while seniors and those wanting to play socially can enjoy a much moreleisurely pace.
Parks & Recreation staff will be holding a FREE demo and clinic from 9 am - 10 am and then will help with open doubles play from 10 am -1 pm. We will have paddles and balls at the event to use. Just bring yourself, family, and friends... you don't want to be left behind once this sport comes to town!
There is a maximum for the Free Demo/Clinic, so you will need to reserve your spot by calling the Recreation Center at (334) 348-2684, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or registering online at eprd.recdesk.com (make sure under "programs category filter" that you have "general" checked... and not just "youth" in order to find pickleball).
