Are you interested in sharpening your gardening and landscaping skills? Do you enjoy helping and educating others? If so, the fall Master Gardener classes will be held Wednesday mornings at the Dale County Government Building in Ozark. The purpose of this nation wide Extension education program is to train interested gardeners to help others solve their home horticulture problems. The course is designed for non-professionals with an interest in increasing their gardening skills and helping others with the knowledge they’ve gained. Subject matter will include plant nutrition, plant id, turfgrass, landscape management, landscape design, entomology, plant diseases, vegetable gardening, and home fruit production and more. 50 hrs. of volunteer service is required to become a Certified Master Gardener.
