Frank Jackson State Park in Opp, Alabama
Visit Frank Jackson State Park during October and November to enjoy the fall colored leaves, a calming lake view, and creative scarecrows. The scarecrows are placed throughout the park’s walking trails and are made by local businesses, churches, individuals, and organizations. Scarecrows in the Park is community effort and proudly organized by Frank Jackson Trail Masters. Guided golf cart tours are available. Group tours are welcomed.

Claybank Jamboree Pet Parade on the Square
On the Court Square in downtown Ozark
Pet lovers are invited to “paws” and enjoy. Pets are encouraged to dress to impress for a stroll in downtown Ozark and enjoy the spotlight to benefit those critters that are less fortunate. The Pet Parade Festivities will include a K-9 demonstration, local veterinarian information booths, pet parade, contest and much more. All proceeds benefits the Ozark-Dale County Humane Society.
