The play covers rape, suicide, and racial profiling. It will follow the lives of three adolescents whom will experience these situations and the outcome they will have at the end.

I always try to use situations that are taking place now in our communites that we can relate to no matter what culture you come from. I am striving to bring awareness to topics, knowledge to these topics but doing it with a comedic twist.

I have been writing for years but in 2012 I finally premiered one of my shows and 930 people came out to witness it, in 2013 i did my second show and then I took a two year break because I had my first and last child and now that he is 1yrs old I decided to go back after my dream with this 3rd play.

Headland All-Class Reunion Weekend

There will be a Headland High School All-Class Reunion from September 17th thru September 20th in Headland, Alabama.

Thursday, September 17 - Homecoming Parade
The annual Headland High Homecoming Parade will be held at 6pm. The Parade will
start at Douglas Park, East Church Street Entrance, proceed to the downtown area around the Town Square and onto East Main Street ending at the Douglas Park, East Main Street Entrance.

Friday, September 18 - HHA Golf Tournament
The first annual Headland High Alumni Golf Tournament will be held at the Headland
Country Club on Friday, September 18, 2015. This will be a 27-hole tournament with a 9 hole qualifying round starting at 10am. There will be lunch served after the qualifying round and afternoon flights will be determined based on the qualifying round score.

Afternoon play will begin at 1pm. A trophy will be presented to the winners of each flight and a tournament champion trophy to the individual with the lowest round.
Cost will be $50 per person and all net proceeds will go to the Headland High Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Friday, September 18 - Homecoming Game
The Headland High School Homecoming game will be played at J. J. Yarborough
Stadium on Friday, September 18th at approximately 7pm (TBA). There will be a
ceremony honoring those alumni in attendance.

Saturday, September 19 - All-Class Reunion
The first All-Class Reunion will be held at Douglas Park from 9am-3pm. There will be
class tents for each decade of HHS graduates and students, a tent containing HHS
memorabilia, multiple DJ's playing music of each decade, recreational activities for kids and plenty of food with concession booths around the area.

Saturday,September 19 - All-Class Alumni Basketball Game
The first HHS All-Class Alumni Basketball Game will be held at Charles Smith Gym on
Sporman Street starting at 2pm. Alumni players along with past coaches will be in
attendance.

Saturday,September 19 - Reunion R & B Concert
GoGo Fest will be the biggest R&B concert the Wiregrass has ever seen starting at 6pm until 11:00pm. This will be held at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan. Performers TBA. Please check our website HeadlandHighAlumni.org for details.

Sunday, September 20 - “Born to Win” Worship Services
On Sunday, local churches will be having 'Born to Win' worship services in honor of our returning HHS graduates and students. Be sure to check with your local churches on their individual activities.

4th annual Adopt -A-School! Dothan Kick Off Breakfast

7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center
The Dothan Education Foundation will be hosting the 4th annual Adopt –A-School! Dothan Kick Off Breakfast on Friday, August 8th. The event will be held at the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The breakfast allows Dothan City School adopters, Dothan City School principals and school coordinators the opportunity to collaborate and plan for the school year. Guest speakers will be featured. The speakers will discuss success stories and offer insight into ideas to enhance this very important relationship between community and our public school system. Breakout sessions will be included in the course of events. Breakout sessions allow businesses, faith based organizations, civic organizations, community members and schools to join their respective groups to discuss objectives and create opportunities for involvement and engagement. The closing session will allow schools and their adopters to join forces with new ideas and create a blueprint for a successful year.
