Grand Ridge 3rd Annual Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt

The Town of Grand Ridge is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt and we are inviting vendors to participate.
The Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 4th at John Thomas Porter Recreation Complex in Grand Ridge. The Recreation Complex is located next to Grand Ridge School on Florida St.
It features an Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. with 3 different age divisions having a total of 12 golden eggs worth $25.00 each.
It opens to the public on Saturday, April 4th at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
There will be something for everyone such as arts, crafts, food vendors, children’s games and activities, live bunny photos from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a coloring contest with prizes. Any vendors that wish to participate are encouraged to contact Cindy Millard at 850-272-1134.
There are a variety of activities for children and adults, T-shirts, homemade jellies, candles, handmade crafts, jewelry, a great variety of carnival foods, a train ride, slides, bouncy house, and more.
The Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Town of Grand Ridge and the East Jackson County Economic Development Council. For more information, please call Town Hall at 850-592-4621.
Vendor spaces are $25 each with proceeds going to Sneads High School Project Graduation 2015. Admission to this event is free, but there are small fees for the kids’ activities. There will be no charge for the egg hunt.

Please come and join us at the Post-wide Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, 5 April 2015, 0630-0730, on the Flight Landing Strip behind Wings Chapel (Bldg 6036, Andrews Avenue). Chaplain (COL) John L. Kallerson, USAACE/Garrison Chaplain, will deliver the Easter Message. The service will involve people of the Fort Rucker and neighboring civilian communities. All are invited to attend.
