Landmark Park's Animal Adventures

Interpretive Center at Landmark Park.
(DOTHAN--) Landmark Park will present the annual “Animal Adventures” on Friday July 25. These special, one-hour educational programs provide unique opportunities to learn about our natural world. Children ages 5 and older are encouraged to come with their youth groups and families to see the wonder of native and exotic animals.

Ken Weathers with the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Department will present a program about common aquatic fish. Visitors will learn about the characteristics that make fish unique from other animals, tips on where to find certain species and you will even get to see several different kinds up close.

Programs begin at 10 a.m. in the Interpretive Center at Landmark Park. Admission is free with paid admission to the park ($4 for adults, $3 for children 3-13, free for members and children 2 and under). Landmark Park, home of the Alabama Agricultural Museum, is a 100-acre historical and natural science park located on U.S. Highway 431 North in Dothan, Ala.
