Summer Concert Series Coming to Andalusia!
Part of our mission at the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce is to initiate programs and services that enhance the quality of life for residents of Andalusia and Covington County. July is a great time of year to enjoy a more relaxed schedule and spend quality time outdoors. This year, the Chamber has partnered with the City of Andalusia to put together a free, family-friendly summer concert series on the lawn at Springdale on Thursday nights starting July 9th.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy live music performed by talented musicians, all with local ties. There will be fun for all ages as we will have Hawaiian shave ice provided by Kona Ice, a foam play area, a photo booth, fireworks, and of course great music.
Our local musicians like Scott Rogers from PowerSouth, Tripp Bass from the Bass Agency, and Evan Brooks, Bob Brooks’ son are all excited to take stage and have a good time with their friends and neighbors. Up and coming talent like Kat Dean and Jamal Curry will also be a part of the show as opening acts for our “headliners”.
You can check out the Chamber’s social media pages for updates on the event or feel free to call the office if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing everyone at July Jamz!

Alzheimer’s – A Faith Perspective is a support and education program to help family members, caregivers and others understand and cope with the effects of Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases.
The thirteen-week program will meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday beginning on Thursday, March 19, and continuing through September. The meetings will be at 7:00 pm in the New Hall at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 123 Health St, in Enterprise. Meetings are free and open to the public.
Using faith as the foundation for helping those dealing with Alzheimer’s, the sessions will include themes such as managing fear and pain, finding purpose, asking for help, and living in the present moment.
