The Alice Through the Looking Glass script was adapted directly from the Lewis Carroll original by new Theatre Instructor Dave McGinnis in 2011. Published in 1871, Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass (and What Alice Found There) includes some of the most beloved characters in literature, such as Humpty Dumpty, Tweedledee, Tweedledum, The Hatter, and of course, Alice.

Tickets may be purchased at the Bencze Theater box office on the campus of Wallace Community College in Dothan. Online ticket sales will be available soon at www.wallace.edu. Tickets are $5 general admission and $3 students.

October 31-November 2, November 7-9, November 14-17 • Living History *Costumed Program!!* Give your students the experience of living and working on a Wiregrass Farmstead in the early 1900s. Students will get the opportunity to cook on the hearth, make butter, care for the farm animals, help in the garden and more! Costumed in period dress, students will be divided into small groups in order to participate at the different workstations. This half-day program will conclude with lunch (prepared by the students) at the Waddell House, traditional games, a hay ride, and an ice cream cone served from the Mar n Drugstore. **Due to the hands on nature of this program, classes are limited to a maximum of 30 students and a minimum of 20 students. Cost: $20/student (includes lunch and an ice cream). Program Length: 4 hours (9 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Recommended age: 3rd-6th.
