MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama Department of Revenue has a
new Internet portal where taxpayers can get immediate access to their tax information.

Revenue Commissioner Julie Magee says the site (https://myalabamataxes.alabama.gov) allows taxpayers to register and access their most recent individual income tax return. They can also make tax payments, request a change of name or address, see total balances of their tax accounts, and check on the processing of individual tax refunds.

She said the site is designed to be secure and to serve taxpayers at their convenience.
