Meet Devon Sellers

Devon came to WTVY News 4 in May of 2009 as an intern. Later, she took on various producing and reporting roles in the newsroom. In June 2014, Devon began co-anchoring News 4 This Morning and Live at Lunch. Then, in September 2015, she was promoted to co-anchor of News 4 at 5, 6, and 10.

She has been recognized for her professional work by the Associated Press and Alabama Broadcasters Association.

Devon says some of the most memorable stories she’s covered are The Midland City Hostage Crisis, Fallen Marine Lance Cpl. Jason Barfield’s death in Afghanistan, and the many “60 Minute Miracles” WTVY’s helped create.

She graduated from Troy University with a broadcast journalism degree. While at Troy, Devon anchored and reported for the award-winning TrojanVision news team, was a Trojan Ambassador, and had a fellowship with University Relations.

Devon was born and raised here in the Wiregrass. She graduated with honors from Ashford High School and grew up watching WTVY.

Devon is grateful to be able to work where she calls home and bring viewers the news that matters to them.

In her free time, Devon enjoys reading blogs and mystery novels, trying out new recipes (especially desserts!), spending time with her friends and family, and playing with her dog, Reese.
