Rayne joined the WTVY News Team in January of 2006 as a General Assignment Reporter. In 2007, she was promoted to Weekend Anchor and Reported during the week. In 2009, Rayne chose to move to cover Dale, Henry, Pike, and Barbour counties at the Ozark Bureau. In July of 2010, she was promoted to serve as Executive Producer where she produces the noon show, Live at Lunch, and oversees the production of the evening newscasts.
She came to Dothan from WAKA in Montgomery, Alabama where she worked as an Associate Producer. Rayne spent the majority of her childhood in Prattville, Alabama and graduated from Prattville High School.
In 2005 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications. While at Troy, she was an Evening and Noon Anchor for Troy’s cable news broadcasts.
In 2007, Rayne started back to school at Troy University’s Dothan campus. She graduated with honors in 2008 with a Master's of Science degree in International Relations.
Rayne has very loving and caring parents, Robert and Tammy. She also has a wonderful brother and best friend, Bo, who is extremely supportive and is always there to tell her how proud he is of her accomplishments.
In her pastime Rayne enjoys snuggling down with a good book, relaxing with girlfriends, cooking, and hanging out with Isis and Merlin, her Chinese Cresteds (hairless dogs.)
