Danielle Wallace Bio
Danielle joined the WTVY News 4 team in January 2013. She is a graduate of Troy University’s Hall School of Journalism and Communication.
While at Troy, Danielle reported and anchored for the award-winning Troy TrojanVision news team, reported for the university’s student newspaper, "The Tropolitan" and volunteered with WTSU-FM.
Prior to joining WTVY, Danielle interned at WDHN News in Dothan and WSFA-12 News in Montgomery, Alabama.
Danielle is from Atmore, Alabama and outside of the newsroom she’s a writer. She made her mark into the self-publishing world as an author with her book, “Her Poetic Cinema of Life.” She's currently working to publish her second book. Danielle influences youth, teaching creative writing classes to teens at the Dothan-Houston County Library and with her own site used as an outlet for young women to read her words or contribute their own. Prior to teaching classes with the library Danielle also taught girls of Girls Inc. of Dothan creative writing.
Danielle is excited to start her career in television news in the Wiregrass and looks forward to sharing stories that impact the area.
