Brian joined the WTVY News team in August 2012 as an Anchor/Producer for Prime Time News at Nine.

Brian joined WTVY in August of 2012 as an anchor/producer/reporter for the new CW Primetime News @9. He hails from the land of ice and snow, a.k.a. Minnesnowta, and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in English and Spanish. He had internships at KARE-11 News and WCCO News in Minneapolis during his senior year. By far, he considers studying abroad in Spain during his junior year the best decision he has ever made. He’ll even break out the Spanish from time to time.

He’s still getting the lay of the Southern land and still trying to not make a fool of himself in the South, though he may have to ask locals to repeat something from time to time. Don’t worry, he’ll be assimilated in no time. And it’s guaranteed he won’t miss the brutal winters of the Midwest.
