Amber joined the WTVY news team in December of 2010 as a producer for the 5 o’clock Nightly News.

Prior to joining News 4, she interned at WIAT-CBS 42 News in Birmingham that ultimately led to her first television job as a Master Control Operator.

Amber graduated with honors from Troy University in December of 2010 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Go Trojans! While at Troy, Amber anchored, reported and even did the weather forecast for the award-winning TrojanVision News team. Amber was also President of the National Broadcasting Society, as well as a member of the Alpha Epsilon Rho and Lambda Pi Eta Honor Societies.

Amber is a native of Enterprise, Alabama. She graduated from Enterprise High School in 2006. Go Wildcats!

In her spare time, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband Drew, and their new puppy Gabby, singing, dancing, meeting new people, reading and traveling.
