Wiregrass Cardinals Underclassman in Fort Meyers for AAU Tourney

The Wiregrass Cardinals Underclassmen are spending time in the Sunshine State. The Cards are playing an AAU tournament at the original spring training facility of the Boston Red Sox.

Today, the Cards entered the 2nd round of Diamond bracket pool play. In game 1 vs. Chicago Cardinals, the Wiregrass Cards beat the Cards from Chicago 9-6. Cody Hatcher, Pearson Lowry, and Nathan Robinson helped pitch their team to the victory.

In game 2 vs. Montreal Blue Jays, the Cardinals fell 15-3. Nathan Robinson pitched the first four innings of the game. Scott Stough and Rush Hixon took the mound after Robinson.

The Cards begin elimination play tomorrow at 10:30 am against the Brazos Valley Texas Renegades.
