UPDATE: State Softball Tournament Enters Final Day at Lagoon Park

MONTGOMERY, AL -- Three more state championships will be decided at Lagoon Park in Montgomery on Saturday. Teams in Classes 1A, 3A and 5A will battle for titles at the State Softball Tournament.

The day began with two local teams still alive, both in Class 1A. Kinston and Pleasant Home both hit the field on Saturday morning, looking to advance to the 1A Title Game.

Pleasant Home - 6
Ragland - 1

Ragland eliminated

Pleasant Home - 8
Decatur Heritage - 5

Decatur Heritage eliminated

Parrish - 4
Kinston -3

Pleasant Home faces Kinston in an elimination game. Winner advances to play Parrish for 1A state championship.

Kinston - 5
Pleasant Home - 4

Kinston will play Parrish for the 1A State championship. Kinston needs to beat the Tornadoes twice to win it all.
